It can be quite dangerous and it's actually very complicated, so do start with professional lessons first and once you get the hang of it, maybe practicing at home can be an option!Celine | 30 Before 30https://www.blogger.com/profile/14255189150307006460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264507107093536899.post-1300172703373777992012-07-27T01:32:51.710-04:002012-07-27T01:32:51.710-04:00Good job at learning fabric! Somehow I got landed with a long stretch of this fabric that I can hang from a balcony on our house. I saw it at a thrift store and thought, "huh, thats so strange! Why would anyone need such a Long piece of fabric?" so naturally, being the craft hoarder I am, I bought the stuff to sew two mermaid tails for these little girls I know. Well, I go to a one week circus camp, and I'm looking at the aerial silks, thinking that the edges of these fabrics look a whole lot like my weird red fabric. Then it hits me. Wow! That's why my fabric is soooo long! So I go home and tie it to my balcony and I'm readyto do the two tricks I know!!! But there aren't any tutorials on YouTube or google, so I was wondering if you have ever made a post or if you know of a website that can teach me:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264507107093536899.post-43842983897509382942010-08-14T14:52:03.690-04:002010-08-14T14:52:03.690-04:00Becca - I am so sorry for only responding now, I j...Becca - I am so sorry for only responding now, I just read your comment! My arms also feel like they are about to fall off. Couldn't do an inversion to save my life but it'll happen! Watching the more advanced people do their thing was super inspiring. They make it look so easy.
I definitely need to check out the trapeze school, I went to Skybox in Bushwick which is a great spot if you live or work around Williamsburg.
Anyways as someone who is also speeding closer and closer to 30 I'm inspired to make a little list of my own. : )
Thanks for sharing your experiences and the best of luck to you !Becca Gotchnoreply@blogger.com
